The Dornoch Community Award
Decided annually by the Community Council members and awarded to a person living in the constituency for their outstanding voluntary service in the area.

For outstanding voluntary service to the town of Dornoch for many years. A leading role on the Dornoch Academy School Board, development of the Allsorts After-School Club supporting working parents with childcare, establishment of Dornoch Festival Week and most recently, director and chair of Dornoch Area Community Interest Company (DACIC). In January, she stepped down from her voluntary role as chairperson of DACIC, a post she held for 10 years, receiving no wage and giving up her free time for the good of the community. |
